Why people choose Logfolio

Where Sequel is strong

  • Five kinds of media in one library, in a well-made Apple app.
  • Two-way Trakt sync for films and shows, and imports from TV Time, Letterboxd, IMDb, Simkl, Goodreads and StoryGraph.
  • Release reminders, an Up Next queue, where-to-watch links and game lengths.
  • A one-time purchase option.

Where Logfolio differs

  • Works on Android, Windows and any browser, not only Apple devices.
  • A public page at logfolio.co/yourname that anyone can open.
  • Albums too, and your own types for anything else (Pro).
  • Export as CSV files on every plan.

Bringing your Sequel history

  1. There's no Sequel import yet, because Sequel doesn't say what format its export uses.
  2. Bring the same history from where it came from: Goodreads, StoryGraph, Letterboxd and IMDb all import into Logfolio.
  3. Or search each title in Logfolio and pick it.

Questions

Is Logfolio private like Sequel?

Your page is public, but reviews never are. On Pro you can mark entries private or make your whole profile private.

Does Logfolio have an iPhone app?

Not yet. Logfolio works in Safari and any other browser on your phone.

Does Logfolio remind me about new releases?

No. Logfolio logs what you've finished and want to get to; it doesn't send release alerts.

Does Logfolio sync with Trakt like Sequel?

No. Logfolio uses Trakt's catalogue to find shows and films and show their posters, but it doesn't sync your Trakt history.

Can I log audiobooks?

Yes, as books: set Format to Audiobook. They stay on the same shelf as the books you read and count in the same year. Goodreads imports fill the format in for you.
