Spotify does your music. Goodreads does your books, if you remember to set a reading goal. But your year was more than one app. You finished a few books, watched a stack of films, binged a show or two, and sank too many hours into one game. A year in review on Logfolio puts all of it on one page.
What your year in review shows
Open Stats from the menu under your photo. You'll see your year at a glance:
- Finished: everything you completed that year, across every type.
- Totals by type: how many books, films, shows, and games.
- Average rating: across everything you rated, out of 5.
- Month by month: a chart of what you finished each month, so you can see the busy stretches and the quiet ones.
- Top rated: your five highest-rated entries of the year.
If you've logged more than one year, pick the year at the top. Stats and the year in review are part of Pro.
What counts toward a year
An entry counts when two things are true:
- It's marked as done. That's Read for books, Watched for films and TV, Played for games, and Listened for albums.
- It has a date in that year.
Things you're still reading or playing, and things on your watchlist or backlog, don't count yet. They'll show up in the year you finish them.
You don't need the exact day. If you only remember that you read a book sometime in 2026, set the date to just the year. It counts toward your total, and the chart notes how many entries are dated only to the year, so the months don't look wrong.
Get your dates in before December
A year in review is only as good as the dates behind it. A few ways to fill them in fast:
- Import your history. Goodreads brings the date you finished each book. Letterboxd brings your diary dates, rewatches included. Netflix dates each show and film by the last time you watched it. IMDb uses the day you rated something.
- Sync Steam. Steam brings the last time you played each game. Games you played in the last two weeks come in as Playing; the rest come in as Played.
- Log as you go. When you finish something, open it and set the date. It takes a few seconds and saves you a long evening in December.
Not sure how to start? Move your history over first, then come back to your stats.
Share it
Every year gets its own public page at logfolio.co/yourname/year/2026. On the Stats page, find Share your 2026 and copy the link, or post it straight to X, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp. The link gets its own preview image, so it looks right wherever you paste it.
The public version leaves out anything you marked private. Your reviews and notes never show on it either, only titles, counts, and ratings.
Make it worth sharing
- Rate what you finish. Top rated and your average only use entries with a rating. Half stars work.
- Feature the best. Mark up to five entries in each type as featured. They lead that type on your profile, so the best of your year is the first thing people see.
- Choose what shows. With Pro you can switch sections off your profile and put the rest in the order you like, from Settings, under Profile sections.
Start now and your 2026 page fills itself in as the year goes on. For ideas on what to log, see a sample page with a bit of everything.
