Import from Apple MusicFile import

Overview

Apple lets you download a copy of your data, including every song you played on Apple Music. Upload the play activity file to Logfolio and the albums you actually listened to come over, each dated by the last time you played it.

What comes over

• Albums you played: three or more different tracks for 30 seconds or longer, or 20 minutes of the album in all
• The artist, when Apple's file has it, and the date you last played it

Good to know

• Apple's file often leaves the artist empty, so some albums come over without one. Add it in the album's panel if you like.
• A single, or one song a playlist reached, doesn't add its album.
• Upload Apple Music Play Activity.csv on its own, from the Apple Music Activity folder in Apple's download. Files can be up to 10 MB.

Setup

1. Go to privacy.apple.com, sign in, and choose Request a copy of your data.
2. Select Apple Media Services information and continue. Apple tells you when it's ready, and you have 14 days to download it.
3. Unzip it, find Apple Music Play Activity.csv in the Apple Music Activity folder, and in Logfolio open Settings, then Import, choose that file, and press Import.

Privacy

• Your Apple file is read once to make your entries, then thrown away. Logfolio never signs in to Apple.
• Reviews stay private; your public page shows titles, ratings, dates, and tags.
